Important note: 4wd/awd and snow tires or chains are legally required in the canyon during winter months (November - April) to make it safely to the home.
Vaulted ceilings, amazing views, and a warm ambiance greet you at the door of this beautiful log home situated on a mountain stream near Brighton Resort. Construction is centered around large, gorgeous wood beams and quality craftsmanship is evident throughout this home. The great room features an immense stone fireplace and a wall of windows which allows for plenty of sunlight and uninterrupted views of the landscape. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a spacious kitchen, and a den/TV room downstairs. Parking in driveway for 2-3 cars.
MAIN LEVEL:
-Living Room- HUGE windows with unbeatable views, comfy couch and armchairs, TV, large gas perfect gathering area for your group off the slopes!
-Kitchen- Modern custom kitchen with all the necessary tools you need to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
-Dining Area- Plenty of space for up to 8 at the wooden dining table with a few extra seats at the kitchen counter!
-Master Bedroom- King sized bed, a door out to the deck, TV, and a private full bathroom!
-King Bedroom- Spacious main level bedroom with a King Bed and its own door to the common bathroom.
-Common Bathroom- Jack & Jill style bathroom with entry doors in the main hallway and twins bedroom.
LOFT:
-Office Space- A desk provides ample space for our working travelers, along with a birds-eye view of the main level.
DOWNSTAIRS:
-Den- Watch a movie with friends and family downstairs while sinking into the deep couches!
-Queen Bedroom- Downstairs queen bedroom with cozy linens.
-King Bedroom- Downstairs bedroom with king-sized bed.
-Laundry Room- Access to efficient washer/dryer with detergent provided! We also have an iron/ironing board in here.

House was perfect. Well stocked. Clean. Comfortable. Roomy. It snowed quite a lot week we were there which put a slight damper on our outside activities (being mid-April 2 feet of snow was not expected!) but we all enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and made a few short trips to town to visit museums an other indoor activities. My son did take advantage of the spring snows and skied several runs at Brighton

Everyone in the family loved this cabin, it was very close to Brighton where my kids learned to ski. Plenty of bedrooms, big kitchen, warm fireplace—all around an amazing place to stay. We made many wonderful memories here and would love to stay here again in the future.

We rented this house for guy trip to go skiing. The house was above our expectations. Very clean and updated. The fireplace was very comfortable. The house is located less than a 1/4 mile away from the lifts at Brighton. Probably not walkable with ski boots but still very close. The beds were clean and comfortable as well and the views of the woods in the back was great. The management was very responsive and provided very good information for our stay. I would definitely go back or recommend this house to a friend. The only draw back is that there is no hot tub which would be a great addition.

We just got home from the most wonderful stay. The house was perfect for two families with kiddos. Kids all slept downstairs. The house is right between Brighton and Solitude. We skied Brighton during the week. Then drove (maybe 3 min) to solitude on the weekend to avoid the Brighton crowds. Just the perfect location.
House was spotless and beautiful. Well equipped kitchen. We had groceries delivered. Cooked every night. House was warm and cozy (despite -11 temps outside!). We can’t wait to come back!!

This house was perfect for ski vacation. The only thing that did not make it flawless was no hot tub. Otherwise, the house had everything for a great ski vacation. We stayed two weeks and never once felt the need to go out to eat. If you are looking for a chance to bring family or friends together to bond this is the place!

This property was one of the most amazing rental properties our family has rented. The cabin is adjacent to the creek and the sound of the water flowing down the rock can be heard from the bedrooms while you sleep. During our stay, a moose and her two babies spent an afternoon grazing by the cabin. The place was immaculate and well stocked (kitchenware, puzzles/games, etc.). There were plenty of towels. Its within walking distance of Silver Lake.

The house was amazing. It was big enough where the adults had their space and the kids had theirs. The backyard was a winter wonderland. We would definitely stay there again!

Great house - close to both ski resorts. Well stocked kitchen for any type of meal, great spaces for family games, watching TV, etc. Lovely decor, great beds, plenty of space, and seperate bedrooms for privacy were very nice. Next to the main road, but very quiet.

Beautiful place to stay for anyone skiing and snowboarding at the Brighton ski resort or the Solitude ski resort. It was such as wonderful experience staying at our vacation cabin. The team was friendly and answered our questions swiftly.

very comfortable house. excellently furnished and equipped. three problems in the winter. no garage. very difficult drive if you have more than one vehicle. no hot tub. otherwise a great home for ski trip with family or 6 or 7 guys.

Thank you for staying with us! We apologize the garage if not assessable in winter ... it is a very steep drive down to garage and it was just too dangerous for guests. More than one guest slid down the driveway in an inappropriate, winter rental car and right into the garage doors. There was hopefully ample parking in the three-car, half-circle drive right in front of the house. We also apologize there was not a hot tub. This owner does not want one at her home, but I do have six other homes that do have hot tubs ... and several with garages. Thank you again for staying with us! Hope you are able to return soon and try out one of our homes that have a hot tub and a garage. It is indicated online what each property offers and you can call me anytime for detailed suggestions so you have the best vacation possible!

Big, clean well laid out. Really pretty interior, high end. House is more luxurious than the photos... LOVED IT. We travel a lot, so we're tough critics. The yard was so fun for snow play! We had 8 people stay comfortably here! Love the downstairs den w/TV and access to tons of snow play just out the back door and on the wrap around deck! Toddlers, teens and tweens loved the house. We have all kinds of skiers in our family, some are advanced downhill, some new, some cross country. This house is next to Solitude's Nordic center, making it great for cross country skiers. It's a 15 walk to Brighton, 5 min drive to Solitude, but only our teens did the walk to Brighton. Little kids needed to be dropped off by car. Brighton is great family mountain. No frills, local mountain vibe and great intermediate skiing! House managers very responsive, that's very important to us! There's no store around, so we ordered our groceries online, picked them up on way up, along with wine and beer from state liquor store. This house was a great size, but felt cozy. We really enjoyed our stay, the heating system was great... it felt like home. Will be back next year!

Great house that is centrally located. Just a quick drive from Solitude and Brighton, and 40 minutes from Snowbird and Alta. The house was well furnished and equipped and was very clean. Recommended.

We travel a lot...might be the nicest place ever stayed. The insides are beautiful...and the house has the best of everything you could imagine or ever want. Easy spot to get in and out of - and very close to both ski slopes. The rental management were responsive and very good to work with. You will not be going wrong to choose this one.

I rented this beautiful house for a family reunion. We also scheduled a photographer to come take family pictures at the same time. The location was perfect for a family picture. Plenty of room to entertain, comfortable beds.

My siblings and I booked this cabin for our annual siblings trip. We had a great time, and were impressed with how clean the cabin was, how well stocked the kitchen was, and how beautiful the setting was. I really appreciated the large table with plenty of chairs so we could all eat together and play games at the table. The décor was perfect...nothing seemed out of place. All eight of us, ranging from 11 to 81, were very pleased with Rivamonte. It was about a half hour from Park City and Salt Lake City. The house is unique looking. Someone designed the house using raw wood or preserved wood in all of the interior rooms. The kitchen has good appliances and is well equipped. We loved the mountain creek behind the house. The house is next to the road but we did not hear the traffic.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful!!! The inside was spotless and the décor was beautiful and went along very well with the wood beams and hardwood floors throughout the house. It was also very well stocked right down to hair dryers and extra shampoo and soap in the bathrooms,lots of books to read and even extra blankets in the living room to curl up with. Nice big dining room table and lots of extra chairs and plenty of living room space to sit in front of the fireplace or watch tv. The back deck was my favorite place to have morning coffee or relax a bit before dinner. Loved the sound of the creek in the back even thought it was running pretty fast with the snow melt. We loved being close to Silver Lake area too. We walked to it and around it almost every evening we were there. It's closeness to the ski resort (you could walk and avoid the traffic) would make it ideal for a winter get a way too!! I hope I get to come back and stay in this fantastic place again!!

I stayed at Rivamonte with a group of friends and we could not have picked a better location. Rivamonte is literally right off of Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, but you cannot hear any road noise at all. It's walking distance to trailheads for Lake Solitude, Twin Lakes, Lake Mary, and Lake Catherine. But my absolute favorite part (and everyone else's!) was the stunning deck that wraps around the house, with plentiful seating and a beautiful view of the rushing river! We have had a great snow year, so enjoying a drink while sitting in the sun listening to the water race past was one of the best parts of the weekend. Carole was easy to talk to and organize with - always available for any questions I had. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need, and the decor was very rustic and welcoming. Beds were crazy comfy and we had plenty of space. Thank you so much for a perfect weekend!

Stayed here during the week I was getting married at silver fork lodge. Huge place! Lots of parking (which came in handy for get togethers and all the family constantly stopping by). We are living in NYC so many of our city friends loved the wood burning stove and the moose head! Also, by far the best stocked house I've ever rented. Lots of plates, utensils, pans for cooking a large meal. Two refrigerators. Lots of space. Perfect. No complaints whatsoever. Will plan to stay there next year our anniversary.

My extended family and I really enjoyed our stay over a long President's weekend. The property is beautiful, tastefully appointed, fully equipped and, for skiers, ideally situated 3 minutes from Solitude and 1 minute from Brighton. Check-in and check-out were easy and the rental staff very friendly and helpful. The cabin is huge, warm (both physically and spiritually) and feels like home.
